Time to sign up for the new session. Looking forward to teaching new and exciting things this session. Don't forget to sign up and ask your friends to come and see what Martial Arts is are about. We will all be getting prepared for this years All School Promotion. It promises to be an exciting session. This year we may have 4 new Black Belts.
We are celebrating our 10th year together as a club. On Monday night many of our junior class students take karate with their parents. It's turned out to be a lot of fun for everyone. Our adult program is one of the best in AA County and getting larger.
The Black Belt Instructors and myself would like to thank all of you for making the Dragon Storm Karate Club so successful.

The AA Rec and Parks Fall Program Guide are now available at the Schools and Libraries throughout the county. Please go on line at www.aacounty.org/recparks to register prior to coming to the next session. Your instructors will have blank forms for each class and can give you a copy if you prefer to mail in the registration instead of going on line. We can not accept Cash or Checks for the classes.

Welcome back to everyone. This is our last session. On April 21st we had a Black Belt test and I'm happy to say this year all 3 individuals passed. Mr. Dustin Rhodes, Mr. Robert Bencivenga and Ms Amy Shaw will receive their Black Belts and put on a demonstration of their skills at the Big Promotion, scheduled this year on May the 7th at 7PM. This years location is the Crofton Middle School. I will be handing out maps to the school in the near future.

Welcome back fellow Dragon Storm Karate Members. I would like to take a minute to update all of you as to what's happening in our club. This session saw our biggest growth in our history . We had 53 new members sign up this sesion, bringing our total club membership to 189 students.
This years big promotion will take place in May as usual. The final date has yet to be determined. Last year we had a hugh turnout to see our Black Belt demomstration. This years new black belt class promises to be just as thrilling.
Remember keep trying to improve yourself and always treat people with dignity and respect".

Thanks to all our students for making this years all school promotion the best ever. We had over 400 people attend this years promotion.

The highlight of this years promotion was the addition of two new black belts to our school. Mr. Joe Percivall and Mr. Rick Wood both were deserving of their promotions and looked excellent in their black belt demonstrations.

We have added 2 new schools to our club over this past year and are always looking for ways to expand. At the end of this year our student count was up 22% from 2006.

I, along with all the instrutors and student's of the Dragon Storm Karate Club would like to thank Ms. Paula Popp of "The Capital" A Capital-Gazette Newspaper - Annapolis, Md. for her outstanding article "Karate teaches students respect and self-defense".
